Aussie Apples and IGA:
Supporting the McGrath Foundation

Aussie Apples and IGA supermarkets are once again teaming up to help the McGrath Foundation support Australian women experiencing breast cancer, and their families.

From June 13 to July 10, IGA Supermarkets will donate 20 cents to the McGrath Foundation from every specially marked 1kg punnet of IGA Fresh Pink Lady™, IGA Fresh Granny Smith or IGA Fresh Red Delicious apples, sold at any of its 1,300 stores.

The money raised will help the McGrath Foundation to fund additional McGrath Breast Care Nurses in communities right across Australia, as well as increasing breast awareness in younger women.

So why not buy a few extra apples as part of your supermarket shopping – it’s a great way to do something healthy for yourself and your family, while also helping the McGrath Foundation.

“Our friendship with IGA and Aussie Apples has played an important role in growing the network of McGrath Breast Care Nurses. We now have 61 McGrath Breast Care Nurses helping support women, and their families, in communities across Australia, and with support from campaigns like this we look forward to watching that number grow.”
Tracy Bevan from the McGrath Foundation.
